A racing car roaring from 0 to 100 km/hour in …1.2 seconds!
Dragsters are quite often the work of American teams speared on by speed and records. However, for once, a Japanese dragster was created a few years ago and dubbed 'Project Zed'
We owe this phenomenal machine capable of staggering performances to John Bradshaw, the rider and owner of his own team, Bramsracing, for which Motul and Nissan UK are two of the main technical partners.
To obtain such exceptional performances, the British team started with a Nissan 350Z base and more specifically its 3.5 litre V6 engine. Among the changes made, the appearance of a twin Turbo partly accounts for the boosting of the engine that now develops … 1800 hp!
Pending the first races of the season, this racing car will be exhibited from 13 to 16 January at the Birmingham Autosport Show.
