Motul celebrates a landmark weekend as Title Sponsor of the Motul Grand Prix of Japan

Mobility Resort Motegi, 27–28 September 2025 — Motul Asia Pacific capped an unforgettable race weekend as title sponsor of the Motul Grand Prix of Japan. The Motul brand was visible trackside, on the podium and across broadcast, the perfect showcase for innovation proven under racing conditions.

Marc Márquez clinched his seventh MotoGP riders’ championship and ninth world title overall at Motegi, his first premier‑class crown since 2019. It was a powerful reminder of what makes MotoGP the ultimate test: precision, resilience and performance at the limit.

Set in Tochigi Prefecture’s forested hills, Mobility Resort Motegi is a favourite with Japanese fans, who turn race day into a sea of colour and noise. The circuit’s layout is a true challenge for riders and engineers alike: heavy‑braking zones, tight hairpins such as the V‑Corner and 90° Corner, and short acceleration bursts that punish any lapse in tyre or traction management. Changeable late‑September weather and subtle elevation shifts add another layer of complexity, rewarding calm strategy, precise bike set‑up and strong race craft.
