MOTUL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CLEAN is a pre-drain automatic transmission cleaner designed to be used in all types of automatic transmissions, conventional with torque converters (AT), with dual clutch transmission (DCT) or with continuously variable transmission (CVT) in preparation for an oil change. MOTUL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CLEAN effectively cleans deposits, sludge and varnish which appear on the automatic transmission components. The removed micro-particles are then evacuated during the process of oil drain leaving the transmission thoroughly clean. MOTUL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CLEAN provides a perfect lubrication during cleaning process.
Removes sludge, varnishes and deposits, leaving the transmission thoroughly clean. Protects from corrosion and premature wear. It allows smoother engine running and softer gear shifting.
Recommended to be used when:
- Difficulties for the automatic transmission to shift gears
- Check engine light on
- Slippery gears: engine over-revving when shifting up or late downshift, which impedes control over acceleration or deceleration
- Jolts when shifting gears
- Overheating, burning smell
- Unusual noises even when in neutral
1) Add to automatic gear box before changing the transmission fluid.
2) Run engine approximately 15min with frequent load changes (use all gear positions).
3) Change transmission fluid and filter according to manufacturer's instructions.
300ml = 8L of capacity.
For larger capacities, add 40ml per liter of gear oil.
