22.02.2013

The second round of the Far East Winter Track Racing Championship took place on a small lake in the city of Nakhoda, a port on the Sea of Japan, in the far east of Russia, 85 km from Vladivostok. The competition, today a traditional event which the inhabitants are eager to attend, is open to cars of a maximum cubic capacity of 1.6 litres fitted with studded tyres and driven by drivers aged at least 18. All in all, no less than 16 races were held on this frozen lake, each driver having an opportunity to measure up to various contenders in the several rounds.
