1.1 “Motul “Oil for Champions” [“Contest”] is jointly organised by Motul Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore, having its business office at 1A International Business Park, #06-03, Singapore 609933 (“MAP”) and its authorised distributors in Malaysia (MAP PCMO MY Distributors):-

1.2 The Contest is open to all legal residents of Malaysia aged 18 years and above as of 14 November 2021.

1.2 Individuals listed below are not eligible to participate in this Contest:

Employees of the Organizer [including its associates, subsidiaries or related thereto] and their immediate family members [children, parents, siblings, including spouses]; and/or

Representatives, employees and/or the advertising agencies or promotional agencies of the Organizer [including its associated and related companies], and their immediate family members [children, parents, siblings, spouses].

2.1 This Contest will commence from 14 November 2021, 00:00:01 to 13 Feb 2022, 23:59:59 (Malaysian Time) ["Contest Period"].

2.2 Any entries received beyond the Contest Period will be rejected and deemed invalid.

2.3 The Organizer reserves the right to amend, extend or terminate the Contest Period at its sole and absolute

discretion without prior notice.

2.4 A minimum purchase of Motul branded engine oils bottle packs (4Ls and above) at any participating points of sales served by MAP distributors from [“Participating POS”] in a single receipt within the contest period.

2.5 Each valid receipt entitles participants to entries based on below product tiering and receipts cannot be combined.

Motul 300V Product – 5 Entries

Motul 8100, H-Tech – 3 Entries

Motul 6100, 4100, Multipower – 2 Entries

Motul Multigrade – 1 Entry

2.6 This contest is valid in all Participating POS served by MAP PCMO MY Distributors based in Malaysia only.

3.1 Each entry must be accompanied by a Proof of Purchase made during the Contest Period at any Participating POS.

3.2 Submission of entries are via WhatsApp from any locally registered mobile number.

3.4 Participants are required to type their Full Name as per MyKad, MyKad Number, Name Participating POS, and a picture of the Proof of Purchase (receipt) and WhatsApp to +6018 251 1638

4.1 Every valid purchase of Motul branded engine oils meeting the entry criteria above with the correct answer (in a single receipt) will be given ONE (1) random serial number.

4.2 Winners are selected monthly during the the Contest Period. Eligible participants will be shortlisted by the automated randomization system during the Contest Period. Winners are selected at the end of the following calendar month and shortlisted as winners.

4.3 Participant may send more than ONE (1) entry.

4.4 Each Proof of Purchase can only be used once. The Participant entries will be disqualified if the same Proof of Purchase is used for more than ONE (1) time.

4.5 Each Participant is only eligible to win ONE (1) prize during the entire Contest Period, irrespective of the number of entries received by the Organizer.

4.6 In the event that the shortlisted participant cannot be contacted, the Organizer reserves the right to select the next shortlisted participant as the winner.

5.1 The Prizes provided for this Contest during period 14th Nov – 13th Dec, 14th Dec – 13th Jan and 14th Jan to 13th Feb 2022 2022 as follows :

10x Grand Prize: Cash RM 1,000.00/monthly for the winning Participant

10x Grand Prize: Cash Voucher RM 500.00/monthly for the winning Participating Workshop (POS)

50x First Prize: Service Voucher RM 300.00 and Motul Engine Oil H-Tech 5W30 or 5W40 for the participant

70x Consolation Prize: Motul Polo T-Shirt for the participant

5.2 Images of the Prizes shown in any promotional materials, advertisements, publicities and other materials relating to this Contest are solely for illustrative purposes only and may not depict the actual Prizes.

5.3 Prizes are subjected to the terms and conditions set by the supplier (if applicable). To the extent permitted by law, the Organizer and its agents are not responsible for all liabilities arising from any deferment, cancellation, delay or changes to the Prizes details or any unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer and for any act or default by any vendor or third-party supplier.

5.4 The Organizer shall not be liable for any loses or damages which occur during the prize’s delivery process. Any other additional costs (for example: travel expenses) involved to collect the Prizes shall be fully borne by the winner.

5.5 All decisions made by the Organizer in connection with the Contest including but not limited to the selection of winner and the Prizes are final, conclusive and binding. Any correspondences, inquiries, appeal or objection from the Participant shall not be entertained.

5.6 The Shortlisted participants will be contacted by the Organizer based on the contact information supplied during their entry submission process.

5.7 Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute the advertised prizes with a prize of the same value without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion. The Organizer, its agencies, its affiliates, sponsors and representatives shall not be liable for any damaged relating to the prizes or misuse of the Prizes, or claims, liabilities, losses or damages arising out of or in connection with this Contest.

5.8 All Prizes are non-transferable.

6.1 By participating in the Contest, the participants give consent and absolute right to the Organiser to use their names, photographs and their prizes as materials for the purposes of advertising, marketing, trade and/or publicity, without any prior notice. The participants shall not be entitled to claim ownership and/or other forms of compensation for the use of the materials by the Organisers.

6.2 The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend and/or cancel this contest at any time without the need to provide any notice or assign any reason whatsoever.

6.3 The Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the Contest submission process, or the operation of the Contest and the Organiser reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual it believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to the contest.

6.4 The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Contest Terms and Conditions at any time at its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice. If any amendments to this Contest’s Terms and Conditions are unacceptable to the participant, they are deemed to withdraw from participating to this Contest.

6.5 In addition to these Terms and Conditions, any other order or rules of the Contest as stated at https://www.motul.com/my/en/landings/motul-malaysia-oil-for-champions or otherwise, shall also bind all Participant and their participation in this Contest.

6.6 In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any terms contained in any promotional materials for this contest, the terms contained at https://www.motul.com/my/en/landings/motul-malaysia-oil-for-champions shall prevail.

6.7 If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions with the Malay version, the English version shall prevail.

6.8 By participating in the Contest, the Participant give their consents to the Organizer or any third party appointed by the Organizer to process the Participant's personal data for the purposes of this Contest.

6.9 Unless stated otherwise, all transportation cost, internet charges, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or any kind of expenses incurred by the Participant in connection with this Contest (whether for the purpose of joining, participating in or receiving Prizes) are at the sole responsibility of the Participant.

6.10 The Organizer, its affiliates, its agents or representatives shall not be liable for any costs/charges/fees/expenses incurred by the Participant in connection with this Contest.

6.11 The Organizer, its affiliates or authorized third parties shall accept no liability for entries lost, damaged, delayed due to any technical error.

7.1 Organizer’s liability for any adverse consequences, whether expected or unexpected and not attributable (whether directly or indirectly) to the said Contest are excluded.

7.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event the Organizer or any of its officer, employee, representative and / or agent (including, any third party agencies that deals with the Organizer for the purposes of this Contest) be liable for any loss or damage (including loss of income, profits or goodwill or indirect damages, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise in connection with this Contest, although the Organizer has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance, and all such damages are expressly excluded.

7.3 By participating in this Contest, the Participant agrees to comply and agrees unconditionally to the Terms & Conditions of this Contest and all decisions made by the Organizer.

8.1 By participating in this Contest, the Participant give their consent to and authorize the Organizer to collect, store, use, process their names, masked identification numbers and other personal particulars [“Personal Data”] for the purpose of running the Contest, including but not limited to announcing and publishing Personal Data and/or photos of the Participant at the Organizer’s website for advertising and publicity purposes.

8.2 By participating in the Contest, the Participant agrees to disclose their Personal Data to the Organizer for the purpose to running this Contest including and not limited to selection of winner (if any). Winners will be required to share their banking account information for organizers to process their winning prizes accordingly.

8.3 By participating in this Contest, the Participant also gives consent and permission to the Organizer to share or collect their Personal Data including with third parties (if required) not limited to the Organizer's agents. All such third parties are contractually obliged, not to use the Participant's Personal Data except in the manner set forth herein.

8.4 Under the laws of Malaysia, the rights of Participant includes:

The rights to withdraw consent for the use of Personal Data at any time by contacting the Organizer at the contact details mentioned below by providing the Organizer with the Participant’s name and email address for removal of the said Personal Data;

The rights to obtain a copy of the Personal Data which the Organizer hold; and

The rights to correct inaccurate Personal Data.

8.5 Participant may refer to the Organizer's website at https://www.motul.com/my/en/landings/motul-malaysia-oil-for-champions or contact MAP PCMO MY Distributors for any info pertaining to data protection or legal rights.

8.6 The Organizer will take reasonable precautions to keep Participant's Personal Data secure, and requires third party processors to do the same. However, the Organizer may disclose the Participant's Personal Data if required by law, search warrant, subpoena or court order.

8.7 Any matter to the Personal Data relating to this Contest shall be governed by and dealt with in the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and any relevant laws in Malaysia.
