Thailand Super Series 2026 Opener: Speed, Grit, and a Grid Full of Motul

The 2026 Thailand Super Series season roared into action at Chang International Circuit in Buriram, bringing together three days of racing across multiple classes. From GT3 and Super Touring to the Eighty-Six Challenge and Super Pickup, Motul-powered teams made a strong start to the season with podium finishes and class victories.
MOTUL ACROSS THE GRID
Motul's footprint at Round 1 was impossible to miss. Six teams carried the Motul banner into battle this weekend across categories like GT3, the Eighty-Six Challenge, Super Touring and Super Pickup. Teams backed by Motul’s passion for performance include:

RACE 1 — MOTUL POWERS TO THE TOP
Day 2 of the weekend brought the race action to full throttle, and Motul-powered teams wasted no time making their mark.
INGING x Autowerks Bangkok Racing opened their account in style, claiming P1 in TSS Supercar GT4, while TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Team Thailand rounded out the podium in P3. In the TSS Supercar GTC class, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Team Thailand delivered a commanding 1-2 finish, taking both P1 and P2.
The TSS Supercar GT3 class saw B-Quik Absolute Racing lock out P2 and P3, showcasing the raw pace that would define their weekend. Nexzter MKsport Motul HYB Atlander added another podium with P3 in TH Super Pickup Class A-B, while B-Quik Racing secured P3 in the Eighty-Six Challenge.
RACE 2 — CONSISTENCY ACROSS THE CLASSES
The second race of the weekend reinforced the competitiveness of Motul-powered teams across multiple classes.
B-Quik Absolute Racing swept the top two spots in TSS Supercar GT3, claiming P1 and P2 in commanding fashion.
In the Eighty-Six Challenge, B-Quik Racing's Pancha Waiprip stepped up to P2, backed by teammate Attapon Kaeoarsa in P3. Nexzter MKsport UForests Motul by TTR's Sorawit Sae-Tang added a P4 to complete a strong Motul showing in the class.
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Team Thailand continued their consistent form with P3 in Super Touring, adding another podium finish to a successful weekend for Motul-supported teams.

THE EIGHTY-SIX CHALLENGE: SKILL MEETS MACHINE
The Eighty-Six Challenge holds a special place in the Thailand Super Series — a class built entirely around the Toyota GR86, where driver skill and setup precision are pushed to their absolute limits. Motul is proud to support this race, backing teams where performance, consistency, and reliability matter most.

The championship now heads to the iconic Bangsaen Street Circuit in Chonburi for Round 2, taking place from 1–5 July 2026.
