MOTUL in the winning DTM car for the third time in a row

Cologne, October 2025 — The 2025 DTM Championship ended with a triple victory for MOTUL partner Manthey. In the exciting finale at the Hockenheimring, Ayhancan Güven secured the DTM drivers' championship title in his Manthey Porsche 911 GT3 R just in the last lap — making him the first Turkish DTM champion. Manthey also finished at the top of the team standings and is also the “Rookie of the Year” with Morris Schuring.

Technology partner MOTUL also played a large part in Manthey's success in the DTM, which is currently the fastest racing series driven with GT3 cars: “With MOTUL 300V, our partners in the DTM rely on high-performance engine oil that enables maximum performance and maximum reliability thanks to our ESTER Core® Technology,” explains Sarah Petschel, Motorsports Partnerships and Event Coordinator at MOTUL Germany. “We congratulate Manthey and are delighted that we were able to repeat and even surpass the success of 2023. ”

Nicolas Räder, Managing Director, Manthey Racing GmbH adds: “For an undertaking such as a championship victory to be successful, everything simply has to fit — from strategy and teamwork to the most important components such as engine and transmission oil. Our engines are exposed to enormous loads during every DTM race weekend. With our partner MOTUL at our side, we know that our high-performance requirements are met at all times. We are delighted to build on our success in 2023 and celebrate another title together. ”

Since 2023, MOTUL Germany has been supplying DTM teams with high-performance lubricants for engines and transmissions. With Manthey, MOTUL was already successful in the drivers' and team rankings in 2023. Last season, MOTUL partner SSR Performance finished first in the drivers' standings. “That whets the appetite for further success in the DTM,” explains Sarah Petschel.
