MOTUL Germany presents expanded and restructured range of additives
Cologne, December 2025 — MOTUL Germany presents a revised additive program for passenger cars, which offers both new products and improved clarity for retailers and end users. The additives for oil, cooling and fuel systems support the performance and protection of modern vehicle engines.
“Our additives have always contained valuable engine know-how, which has a high added value for all users,” explains Dmitry Bakumenko, Managing Director of MOTUL Germany. “We are now building on this and making these advantages even more obvious with a new structure. We have also expanded our range of additives to include other attractive products. ”

New products in the range
MOTUL additives, for example, are already increasing the performance and running pleasure of combustion engines, protecting the components and preventing contamination. MOTUL Germany is now expanding its product range and thus bringing additional benefits:
Winter Booster Diesel prevents the formation of paraffin crystals, which can clog filters and pipes when cold. It ensures reliable winter operation, especially with low-quality diesel.
System Protect E10 provides reliable protection for fuel systems that run on ethanol blends (E10 and above). The new MOTUL additive regulates the pH value, prevents acid formation and protects important components of the fuel system from corrosion and premature wear caused by alcohol in the fuel.
Anti Crystalizing Adblue prevents the formation of urea crystals, which can clog Adblue dosing systems, injectors and SCR catalysts and thus ensures that the SCR catalytic converter (Selective Catalytic Reduction) functions properly and thus reduces the emission of nitrogen oxides in the combustion process.
All-in-one Ultra (for diesel and gasoline engines) cleans and protects the entire fuel system and improves performance. The multifunctional additive available for both types of fuel ensures efficient, clean combustion without crusting, deposits or condensation. When used, it can prevent costly repairs every 5,000 km (for mostly city traffic) or every 10,000 km (for mostly motorways).
More clarity in the program
MOTUL also makes its range of additives more customer-friendly in terms of structure, presentation and presentation. From January 2026, some of MOTUL's commercially available additives will have new names and new labels: “We want all interested parties, from end users to specialist workshops, to quickly find the right additive from us,” explains Philipp Miks, product manager at MOTUL Germany. “Thanks to our new look, everyone can see at first glance what purpose our products were made for and what their advantages are.” For example, a color code indicates whether additives are designed for the fuel system of gasoline (green), diesel (yellow) or hybrid engines (dark blue), whether they must be added to the engine oil (red) or the cooling system (light blue) of cars. In addition, icons visualize the main advantages, for example when it comes to fuel efficiency, gentle operation or increased performance.
“In this context, we are resolving the division between business-to-business and end-customer-specific products,” adds Miks. “All additives relevant to everyday use by car drivers have been brought together in an extended 'core range. ' In addition, there are only a few special additives left for the concept sector. ”
In addition to the renewed additive program for passenger cars, MOTUL Germany has a proven portfolio of additives for scooters and motorcycles. They too ensure that the performance and operation of two and four-stroke engines are improved.
