MOTUL AND PEUGEOT MOTOCYCLES FORM STRATEGIC LUBRICANT PARTNERSHIP
- Motul and Peugeot Motocycles, two iconic and pioneering French brands, sign exclusive global agreement to use Motul lubricants.
- Peugeot Motocycles will use Motul engine, transmission and gear oils, as well as brake fluid, for first fills and service fills.
- Peugeot Motocycles is the world’s oldest motorcycles manufacturer with more than 120 years of mobility experience.
There are few quicker or more enjoyable ways to get around than zipping through traffic on a scooter. Owners rely on them for commuting all over the world, come rain or shine. But urban and suburban life, with its stop-start traffic and weather, can be demanding for a motorcycle.
Because of this, Peugeot Motocycles, one of the world’s oldest motorcycles manufacturer, has chosen to partner with Motul as its official lubricant supplier.
The strategic collaboration between these two iconic French brands will see all new Peugeot Motocycles factories filled with Motul’s proven four-stroke engine oils, as well as transmission, gear and brake fluids, at the Peugeot Motocycles’s production facilities in France and China.
In addition, Peugeot motorcycles will be service filled with Motul’s products, including our range of two-and-four stroke engine oils, which have been specifically designed for stop-and-go riding and feature our latest innovations to maximize performance and protection while keeping emissions low.
This is the second time the two pioneering companies have collaborated, and as part of the partnership Motul will also develop a co-branded and bespoke range of two-and-four stroke engine oils for Peugeot Motocycles, which customers can buy at official dealerships.
Speaking of the announcement, Olivier Montange, Chief Business Officer at Motul, said: “We are delighted to once again partner with Peugeot Motocycles, a brand that has brought freedom to people for decades, whether in the city or the countryside. A brand that shares with us similar values towards heritage, innovation, technology and quality. This is a truly exciting opportunity to collaborate with a market-leading motorcycle company to improve efficiency and engine cleanliness.”
Matthieu Brinon, Sales, Marketing and Communication Director at Peugeot Motocycles, added: “At Peugeot Motocycles, we’ve a long and rich history in urban mobility innovation. Our products are designed for freedom and the emotion of riding. But we know city riding can be demanding on motorcycles, so we wanted a partner that can help us provide the performance and reliability our customers expect, but one that also shares our heritage, vision and passion for innovation.”
Motul’s innovative two-and-four stroke motorcycle oils, with anti-smoke and anti-deposit properties, are tested in the laboratory and the real world to provide smooth, seamless and reliable stop-and-go city riding.
