Motul set to take on the 69th 12 Hours of Sebring

2021 IMSA Sportscar Championship continues with the Twelve Hours of Sebring
Motul-supported teams BMW Team RLL and Pfaff Motorsports to fight for class honors

Going into this weekend, the #24 and #25 BMW Team RLL BMW M8 GTEs sit in third and fifth respectively in the championship standings, and the BMW factory-backed effort are aiming to take the fight further up the field this weekend. In last year’s race, the team had a strong race and finished in 3rd and 4th position, and will be looking to fight at the front of the GTLM field once again. Pfaff Motorsport’s sole #9 Porsche 911 GT3 R currently sits in 11th position after a disappointing season opener at the Daytona 24 Hours back in January. After having qualified in 2nd, the Canadian team got unlucky during the main race, finishing in 11th, and will be a one to watch in the GT Daytona category at Sebring.

The Motul-supported Glickenhaus Racing was slated to debut their brand new Glickenhaus 007 LMH Hypercar at this weekend’s 2021 World Endurance Championship 1000 Miles of Sebring, alongside the 12 hours of Sebring.  However due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the FIA WEC season opener has been delayed and will now take place at Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium, scheduled for the 1st of May.

Fans from Asia-Pacific can follow the race live on IMSA TV (https://www.imsa.com/tvlive/) and on Motul, BMW Team RLL and Pfaff Motorsports Social Media channels.
