An epic battle
This season of Trophée Andros was all about the battle between the “Electrique” Trophy cars versus the “Thermique” Trophy cars. With the roaring V6’s taking up arms against the zipping electric motors. The evening of tough competition ended in a 1-2 in favor of the electric cars. It was Aurélien Panis’ Plastic Up Audi who took the laurels with Frank Lagorce’s Andros colored car which he shared with nine times WRC champion Sébastien Loeb, who came in second.
Another one bites the dust
The final must have been one of the most hair-raising races we’ve ever seen. One thing the drivers won’t easily forget as well is that, in stark contrast to the snow banks in the regular Andros events, the walls of the Stade de France don’t move. The latter made this one of the most unforgiving tracks of the season.
Our Motul Superfan attending the spectacle from pole position
The festivities were also joined by our Motul Superfan. He became a race driver in his own right who had a weekend to remember. He was meeting the drivers, but he also received a wonderful surprise by Nicolas Prost: the helmet he raced this season!
Enjoy the spectacle from the front seat through the lens of our photographer.
