Motul and Le Mans history dates back to over 60 years. The 360 degrees partnership has evolved throughout the years from the support on the field to the race teams, to being a premium partner to the event, and the official lubricant partner. Motul's oil tayloring expertize has evolved greatly thanks to the insights gained at the best laboratory there is to test our products, the 24h of Le Mans.
Our relationship with Gibson Engines
For the 2020 24H of Le Mans edition, thanks to Motul's global partnership with Gibson, the only engine manufacturer in the LMP2 category, at least 12 racing teams will be Powered by Motul.
We win races
Over the years, Motul has powered several teams to the podium. Most recent one, in 2019, Motul-backed team TDS Racing got P1 in qualification for the event, and finished P3 after 24 hours of fierce racing
