Innovation, passion, technical development and performance at the highest level - these values of the lubricant manufacturer Motul have been implemented in a new partnership with TVR!
An integral part of the British motor sports heritage, the independent producer of TVR has created models with names such as Griffith, Chimaera and Cerbera, for many years, adding a mythic scroll to its status in the British automotive industry.
In 2017 TVR celebrates its 70th anniversary. To celebrate the anniversary, the company produces a new sports car with an 8-cylinder V-shaped Cosworth engine of 5 liters. Motol oils and other lubricants have been successfully used in the development process, greatly increasing their productivity.
"Revolution" to the Future
Recognized worldwide for the distinct "whining", the new TVR will become the first model to be released in the last nine years. The car was first presented at the Goodwood Revival Festival on September 8th.
The design of the new and currently nameless model is based on special technologies for the processing of carbon fibers, created by Gordon Murray Design. Gordon Murray is renowned for his innovative engineering developments in Formula 1, as well as the first road version of the McLaren car.
The front passenger car with the V8 engine is equipped with a mechanical transmission and a rear-wheel drive. The model will be charged with 100% synthetic motul oil of 0W20 viscosity grade, which has been tested and approved by TVR. This will emphasize the excellent style of the brand, which is made by hand, and not massively.
