DTM Trophy: Leipert Motorsport has the title as its goal!

In 6 weeks, the season of the newly established DTM Trophy will finally begin. The goal for Leipert Motorsport is clearly defined: The championship title!

With the first three confirmed drivers in the GT4 program, the team starts the fight for the titles to be won. Well-known and new faces at Leipert Motorsport in the AMG GT4: Besides Jan Kisiel (Poland) and Fidel Leib (Germany), the experienced team is strengthened by the young driver Marc de Fulgencio from Spain.
 

Driver Line-Up

AMG GT4 #2

Fidel Leib: The 32-year-old German has experience with the AMG GT4 since 2017. The long-distance ace, who was mainly at home on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, will drive the #2 in the eye-catching
PROFI CAR design and will complete his first season in the sprint sector. Fidel already made guest starts for the team in 2019 and has made a long-term commitment with the team from 2020. His goal: The title in the XP-class for Bronze drivers.


AMG GT4 #4
Jan Kisiel: The 25-year-old Pole has been driving for Leipert Motorsport since 2017 and has found his way into the DTM Trophy after competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo and the GT4 European Series. In 2019 he became vice champion of GT4 Europe and knows the DTM platform very well from his time in the Audi TT Cup, which he won. His goal: Winning the title on the red/white #4.

AMG GT4 #9 

Marc de Fulgencio: The 20-year-old newcomer from Spain has already gained GT4 experience in 2019 and is a former GT Open Cup driver. He is a promising talent with great potential and is piloting the red/black #9. His goal: The fight for the DTM Junior Trophy title (drivers up to 22 years).

AMG GT4 #9

"We are very happy to have been able to field such a strong driver squad for the DTM Trophy's debut season, as the mix of young talent and experience fits very well. It is becoming apparent that the competition is very strong. But we are confident that with the drivers, the solid AMG GT4 and the right ambition in our luggage, we will again be part of the title decision this year. We are looking forward to the start of the season - finally it starts!" Partnered by MOTUL, SONIC EQUIPMENT and CHRISAL, the season starts for Leipert Motorsport on 01 & 02 August 2020 on the Ardennes rollercoaster in Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium).
