What’s the Motor Bike Expo?

It’s one of the world’s largest trade fairs dedicated to special motorcycles, custom bikes and accessories. And it’s huge. This year more than 170,000 people visited the expo in Verona, Italy, cramming into the event’s 100,000 m2 of exhibition space to see bikes and bike accessories from 700 brands. Over the years the Motor Bike Expo has grown to become one of the largest international events in the motorcycle calendar dedicated to customization, and beyond.

What was Motul doing there?

We were the main sponsor of the show for the sixth year running and had an exhibition area dedicated to the world of motors. Outside in the Motul Arena visitors were able to see motorbike and car stunt displays. We of course brought our range of bike-care products along too, such as our recently updated Powersport range of products.

Did you have any interesting machines on display?

You could say that. We brought along the Suzuki GSX-RR MotoGP ™ and the HRC CRF 450 Dakar, two really memorable bikes and it was great to see people getting up close to them. We also had an ATV CF Moto on the stand, a truly brilliant quad bike.

What else could visitors do?

We had a fun game: called ‘Virtual Motul Superbowling’ using VR to turn our stand into a virtual bowling alley. Each person had two shots and those who got a strike would win a gadget. And we also showed how, through our Motul School initiative, we can pass on our years of technical knowledge and expertise to our partners.
