Motul becomes Official Product of the Tour de France with its range of bicycle care products
Motul, the reference brand in lubricants and care products for motorbikes and cars, will be an “Official Product” of the Tour de France, the world’s biggest road bike race. Motul will also partner with Cofidis, one of the Tour de France’s leading teams. These partnerships signal Motul’s ambitions to become a leader in the cycling market, for both professional and amateur cyclists.
Known to motorsport professionals and enthusiasts the world over, Motul is signalling its ambition to become a leader in the cycling market, with a three-year licencing deal with the Tour de France. Motul’s new range of bicycle care products will become the Official Product of the world's biggest cycling competition.
Motul’s "Official Product of the Tour de France" range, which was developed to meet the needs of competitive athletes, will be available across the Motul distribution network, from official Tour de France distributors (online and offline), and from specialist cycling outlets including Alltricks.
An initial range of “Motul Bike Care” was launched in 2022. It included eight eco-designed products for degreasing, cleaning, lubricating and protecting mountain bikes. With its new range designed specifically for road bikes, Motul now covers the needs professional and amateur cyclists, guaranteeing top-level performance while respecting the environment.
Motul is also sponsoring Cofidis, a leading Tour de France team. This partnership will help Motul develop its products in direct collaboration with professional cyclists, while showcasing the performance of its range under the toughest competition conditions.
These collaborations are a key pillar of Motul’s development strategy, which is to become leader in bicycle care products by 2030. To do so, it will leverage decades of expertise in motorbikes . Motul's diversification into bicycles is a natural progression for a group that has been a specialist in mobility lubricants since 1853.
