Motul has been exporting lubricants to the large US market since 1986. To match the Motul strategy of internationalization, the US subsidiary was launched in 1989 thus creating Motul USA Inc..
In response to the strong increase in its powersports market share, Motul USA created the automotive division in 2006.
As of today, Motul is marketed within the US & Canada through more than 10 automotive distributors and 8 motorcycle distributors.
Approximately 450 outside salesmen offer the Motul line to dealers all over North America.
