Motul, faithful partner of the Japanese Classic Car Show.
The 7th edition of the Japanese Classic Car Show (JCCS) took place on 10 September. This very popular event, where Motul has been one of the partners for 5 years, is organised at Long Beach port (LA - California), just in front of the impressive liner Queen Mary.
No less than 390 Japanese cars were exhibited for the greatest pleasure of enthusiasts of the heritage passed down by the famous makes Datsun, Mazda, Honda, Toyota or Nissan. Note should also be made of the presence of half a dozen old Nissan Skyline GTRs, a Mazda 787B that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, or a rare Toyota 2000 GT dating from 1968.
Motul benefited from high visibility at the event where it had a stand displaying a Datsun 240Z1972 and a Nissan 240Z dragster, and it also sponsored the first state contest reserved for collectors' Japanese motorbikes. The best of show prize was awarded to a Honda 125 cm3 dating from 1965.
