Motul celebrates Monster Yamaha Tech3’s MotoGP podium!
Motul is proud to be associated with some of the leading names in both four-wheel and two-wheel motorsport.
Both disciplines are every bit as vital to the company in its research for technical excellence and superior performance, and the 3rd place success of Yamaha Tech 3 at Catalunya this past weekend is celebrated by not only the team but all its technical partners. Motul is proud to be associated with Yamaha Tech 3, which shares its core values of passion, performance and team spirit, and wishes to extend warm congratulations to the whole team.
Both British rider Cal Crutchlow and Italian Andrea Dovizioso have shown steady improvements race-by-race throughout the 2012 MotoGP season, and had some great inter-team duels, but it was Andrea Dovizioso who came out top on this occasion on his Motul-supported 1000cc Yamaha YZR-M1. The result confirms the excellent performance of the independent French team, under the control of Team Manager Hervé Poncharal. The talents and experience of Crutchlow, 2011 Rookie of the Year, and Dovizioso, who was placed third in last year’s championship, are undoubtedly a major factor in the team’s quest for championship honours.
As Official Lubricants Partner to Yamaha Tech3 team, a technical partnership now in its 23rd year, Motul is ideally placed to offer the famous French team the range and quality of lubricants needed for this fast-moving arena. MotoGP visits thirteen countries and four continents over the course of the season and nine nationalities of the world’s most skilled riders form a grid of cutting-edge prototype machinery. Motul is the number one motorcycle lubricant in Europe, and has a presence in more than 80 countries worldwide so MotoGP plays a key part in its marketing and sales strategies.
Considered by the French company as a vital test bench and living laboratory for its motorcycle products, Motul has developed specialised, experimental oils specifically to deal with the temperature extremes associated with the high performance engines used in this discipline. This involvement has a direct effect on the products available to consumers on the high street for the benefit of the wider motorcycling community.
