Despite the small injury problems he has been coping with over the past two weeks, Clément Desalle of team Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MX1 can be satisfied with his performance at the Grand Prix of Germany which took place on 9 and 10 July in Teutschenthal. In effect, in front of more than 40,000 spectators, the Belgian rider finished races 1 and 2 in 5th and 3rd position respectively. A particularly satisfying result synonymous with a 3rd overall of the two rounds but which also allows Clément to remain in the Top 3 in the championship standings.
A more difficult weekend on the other hand for Steve Ramon. Not in top form during the two races, the winner of the Le Touquet Enduropale fell in race 2. By finishing in 10th and 9th positions of the races, Steve currently holds 10th place in the championship standings.
Last, in MX2, Valentin Teillet was racing only his second full event of the season. Back to racing after missing six rounds of the series due to a shoulder injury, the team Suzuki Europe MX2 rider took 10th place of race 1, then 7th of race 2.
The next round of the series will be held at Kegums in Latvia on 17 July.
