MOTOGP™ READY TO WELCOME MOTUL SUPERFAN COMMITTEE AT MOTUL TT ASSEN

Launched at Assen three years ago, the Motul Superfan programme is a unique concept which offers fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience at MotoGP™ races, creating a valuable link between the race organisers and the lifeblood of MotoGP™ – the fans – and strengthening the bond between Motul, everyone involved in the pinnacle of two-wheeled competition, and fans around the world.

The ultra-successful format has this year been adopted in Motul-sponsored endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans Moto and 24 Hours of Le Mans Auto and, bringing together all these elements for a 100% Motul celebration, the lubricant specialist has invited 10 former MotoGP Superfans to the 8th round of the MotoGP™ championship, the Motul TT Assen in the Netherlands from 28th June to 1st July. 

Reuniting to share knowledge and passion 

Motul will host a reunion for 10 previous winners of the Motul Superfan title – now brand ambassadors for life.  Coming from all around the world, they will form, the Motul Superfan Committee.  On Friday 29th June the committee will meet with organisers Dorna, regulators FIM, IRTA who represent riders, Assen circuit management and, of course, Motul to discuss all things MotoGP™. The top management of MotoGP™ will hear the voice of the fans from all four corners of the world on key topics and subjects such as digitalization, TV & content, social media, onsite activities, fan entertainment. 

The Committee will then act as social media reporters for Motul and Dorna.  They will take the front row at the press conferences, interview Motul riders and team members, as well as reliving a few Superfan experiences they enjoyed first time around.  With them will be the newly selected, 46th Motul Superfan who will take part in all the ‘classic’ Superfan activities which have become such a part of these weekends.  A safety car lap, grid walk before the race, paddock, hospitality and Motul lodge access, watching from a pit box and presenting one of the Moto 3 trophies on the podium…

Talking Tech with our Teams

Motul’s Superfans will be attending and taking part in a tech talk live experience with team members about Motul products, including the most recently launched 300V², and then using their ambassadorial skills to spread the word far and wide.  What is learned or proven at the track today goes into the products of tomorrow…being ingenious, innovative, authentic and bold works! 

The reliability and performance demonstrated in this highest form of two-wheeled competition is directly transferred to the products available on the shelves for consumers. Using the racetrack as a living laboratory, Motul has developed a wide range of lubricant from the 300V Factory Line range, designed for racing, to the 7100 range suitable for daily ride. Top factory teams such as Yamaha Tech3 and Suzuki, supported by Motul, use a specially developed oil from the R&D department, innovative and high-performing brake fluids and care products for both men and machines.
