When she decided to take part in the state of South Australia motocross Championship, Courtney Knight knew she was in for a tough fight. She could admittedly boast the six titles won in the state of Queensland with team Yamaha supported by Motul, but this time she was going to ride on tracks completely new to her. Despite that, she managed to bag the title. 'I learnt to adapt fast to these new circuits and this experience has allowed me to discover other types of tracks.' Making things tougher, her category was run together with that of the veterans, which formed a motivation and an additional difficulty! The latest round, in Murray Bridge, did not however mean the end of 2012 races for her: Courtney will return to Queensland to defend her title before taking part in the National Championship in October.
