After a fierce season, Mitchell Carr wins the title!

20.09.2012

On attacking the last round of the Australian Superbike Championship, at the Queensland circuit on 16 September, Mitchell Carr had only half a point lead in the Supersport standings. Riding for Aark Racing Triumph, a team supported technically by Motul, he experienced a very close first race, exchanging first place on several occasions with Josh Hook in a spectacular duel, until his contender was forced to retire following mechanical trouble. With such a lead, Mitchell Carr could go easy on his Triumph 675 in race two which he finished in 6th place, with a significant championship lead. 'We've had ups and downs this year,' related Carr, 'and have had to work really hard to come back to the lead after a difficult beginning to the season. The motorcycle has been incredible, and I've been most pleased to participate in its tuning with the team. Regularity has saved us'. Congratulations!
