Motul Grand Prix of Japan set to Thrill Fans Worldwide

The 2018 MotoGP championship has had everyone on the edge of their seats with the thrills (and spills) provided by the world’s best motorcycle teams and riders.  There are still four rounds of the season to go, and the 16th is the Motul Grand Prix of Japan at Motegi Twin Ring from 19-21 October.  Motul will be title partner for the Japanese round of the world championship for the fourth consecutive year, and will be welcoming thousands of crazy, enthusiastic fans to the track!

Receiving technical support from Motul will be Reale Avintia Racing (Ducati), Yamaha Tech3 and the official Team Suzuki factory squad.  Each of the riders in these three teams will be hoping to add to their 2018 results’ sheet.

Thanks to the development work with these teams and their technical experts, testing products in the most extreme of competitive conditions, Motul has developed a new 300V product which goes even further than the current flagship oil 300V which has been available since 1971: the 300V² 10W-50.

Why further? This same product can be used for on-road and off-road conditions while offering improved performance. In fact, the FIM-approved product offers increased maximum power output thanks to low oil film friction at high speed, increased oil durability, and consistent engine performance thanks to improved engine cleanliness. As a bonus, thanks to its organic base and use of non-fossil renewable materials, this oil limits its environmental impact by lowering the carbon footprint by 18% during the manufacturing process.

The new product has been available worldwide for the last few months, and specifically available to the Japanese market since April. Motul’s commitment to never stop innovating, to be passionate and involved with all its partners, and to always look beyond the next corner, the next race, or the next technological evolution, led to the opening of a new, unique R & D facility in Kawasaki, Japan earlier this year.  Japan, Motul and MotoGP: a tightly knitted partnership which will be very much on display at Motegi.
