Motul teams keep their leadership

Once again, the CTCC 1600cc podium was entirely occupied by Motul's colours! Three teams enjoyed its support in the fourth round of the season on 8 July in Erdos: Beijing Hyundai, Haima and Chongqing CC. As Haima won several races, its driver was penalised with heavy ballast and took the start from the back of the starting grid. Cui Yue was in pole position, but heavy rainfall on the track at the beginning of the race made the drivers' task particularly tricky. Sun Zheng, Beijing Hyundai driver, was forced to abandon owing to mechanical problems but Wan Jincun, racing for team Chongqing CC, chose to pursue with the same tyres whereas most of the drivers made a pit-stop to change them. That was a wise decision because it allowed him to take the lead of the race and cross the arrival line first. The next meet is scheduled at the same circuit on 19 August.
