Audrey Rossat bags second place in the championship

 

The third round of the championship, on 15 July at Chabreloche in the heart of the Auvergne region, was favourable to Audrey Rossat, despite the rain that fell during the event. On the first day she managed to get the advantage in special 3  and kept it till the end of the race, battling it out with Blandine Dufrêne. The Motul rider therefore climbed the first step of the podium, for the first time of the season! On day two, the terrain continued to worsen because of heavy rain that hindered Audrey in her progression. 'I didn't ride at my level', she commented after the event. She nevertheless finished second. The next event will take place at Peyrat, on 8 and 9 September.
