Motul, an internationally recognised developer, manufacturer, and distributor of performance oils and lubricants for a variety of engine requirements, this week officially announced they have been dubbed the official lubricant partner of the American Flat Track Pro Series, a highly competitive dirt track American motorcycle sport, effective immediately. The agreement is for a three-year deal.
As a company passionate about providing support and top-notch products to racers, drivers, developers, and technological advocates, Motul wanted to be part of the prestigious American Flat Track Pro Series, a form of dirt track motorcycle racing that is regarded as the truest, purest test of man and machine.
“With roots dating back to the 1920s, this is the kind of motorcycle display we want to support and be part of,” said Guillaume Pailleret, President of Motul North America. “Our oils and lubricants were developed with this kind of passion and ingenuity in mind, so it only makes sense we join forces and help support all of the American Flat Track Pro Series endeavors for the next three years.”
Motul has a strong history in the production of oils and lubricants for motorsports, including MotoGP, FIA World Rally Championship, WSBK, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. From their active participation in motorsports and product development, Motul continues to push the boundaries of technological innovation for products that are used both out on the racetrack and right in the streets. Originally a French developer and manufacturer, Motul has a presence in global motorsports, with a particular focus in motorcycle racing and competitions.
Additionally, Motul this week announced they will be presenting an award for each race called the “Motul Move of the Race” award. The award will be presented to the individual who demonstrates the most impressive moves made during the main event for each of American Flat Track’s races.

American Flat Track will kick off the 2017 season during Daytona’s Bike Week festivities on Thursday, March 16 at the all-new DAYTONA TT. The new track is built inside the Daytona International Speedway.
