HOREX and MOTUL announce a strategic partnership
MOTUL is now the official Lubricants supplier of HOREX. The number one lubricant for high-performance bikes becomes the exclusive partner of the premium manufacturer from Germany.
"The HOREX VR6 offers unmatched driving pleasure, dynamism and lifestyle," said MOTUL's Head of Powersport Anton Malyshev, "and this partnership strengthens the ties between two companies whose DNA fits together perfectly."
"MOTUL has been a proven partner for us for a long time," says HOREX CEO Karsten Jerschke. "Brand and products, like HOREX, stand for the highest quality standards and innovative development. In the future, every single HOREX customer will profit from the even more intensive cooperation. “
This partnership does not just begin with the announcement at the EICMA 2019. When the current HOREX VR6 engine was put on the test bench for the very first time MOTUL was present with the 300V Factory Line RR 15W-50 product. The laboratory results showed exceptionally good wear and oil condition results from the beginning. Based from this proof of reliability, the oil has been continuously optimized and tailored to the special needs of modern high-performance motorcycle engines. Thus, it can prove all its strengths both in a testing environment as well as in everyday operation, benefits such as the extrem high shear stability resulting in a stable oil pressure as well as the high adhesion, which reduces cold start wear and improves heat dissipation are among some of the products key benefits. The very high thermal capacity buffers the operation under extreme conditions, thus contributing to the ultimate driving experience of each HOREX VR6 and a long engine life.
MOTUL not only supplies HOREX with lubricants for First- and Service Fill, but also as an exclusive partner with extremely high-quality brake and cooling fluids that meet the requirements of high-performance motorcycles from HOREX in Landsberg am Lech.
Because every part of such a high-end motorcycle needs special care, MOTUL also offers its specifically developed MOTUL MC Care line, a range of motorcycle service products, to HOREX. With which every HOREX VR6 is carefully trimmed to high gloss before being delivered to the customer.
All MOTUL products have proven their reliability and performance every day for many years and are now also labeled with the title "HOREX recommends MOTUL". Now, not only the HOREX's factory is supplied to the highest quality standards, all products are also available to every HOREX end customer.
HOREX is one of the most traditional German brands ever. Founded in 1923 in Bad Homburg in the German state of Hessen by Fritz Kleemann, the motorcycle manufacturer quickly celebrated its first successes in motorsport.
In the following years, HOREX repeatedly impressed with engines that were far ahead of their time. Thus, among other things, the parallel two-cylinder developed in 1932 with triple-overhead camshaft caused a sensation in racing.
In 1950, HOREX launched the "Regina", which quickly became the world's best-selling motorcycle and exemplifies groundbreaking design, outstanding finish, state-of-the-art technology, and the highest levels of reliability and quality in HOREX history.
HOREX embodies these values again after the takeover by the 3C-Carbon Group. Today, the unique HOREX VR6 motorcycles are built using the highest quality components and with the development expertise of the 3C-Carbon Group in the Motorad-Manufaktur in Upper Bavarian Landsberg am Lech and gives the great traditional brand the deserved shine back.
The HOREX VR6 models are currently the most exclusive production motorcycles. Thanks to the unique combination of high-tech components, exclusive materials and manufacture-based manufacturing, they define the premium segment.
The heart of every HOREX is the VR6 engine, which is unique in motorcycle construction and combines compactness and sporty performance in unprecedented ways. The unique sound, the consistently inspiring power delivery and the superior power generate an incomparable driving experience.
MOTUL was founded in 1853 in the US as Swan & Finch Oil Corporation. In 1932, Supra Penn was founded, which imported the Swan & Finch products to France and quickly became one of the major manufacturers. In 1958, Supra Penn acquired the worldwide trademark rights and patents and henceforth became known as MOTUL.
MOTUL has always stood for cutting-edge technology, innovation and premium standards. This is one of the reasons why many leading motorsport teams have been using MOTUL products for many years.
In its history, MOTUL developed the world's first multigrade oil, the first semi-synthetic and the first fully synthetic motor oil. Even today, MOTUL stands for research and innovation. With its 166-year history and more than 70 years of racing experience, MOTUL draws on a unique wealth of experience and know-how. The company is present in more than 80 countries today.
