French Enduro Championship - Puy en Velay - France

07.12.2011

A golden season for team EC2M

Created in 2005 by Michel Merel (a former official Yamaha rider),  Team EC2M is a training school devoted to off-road motorbike racing whose goal is to train tomorrow's French hopefuls.

Among them, with already 7 seasons in the team to his credit, Jérémy Carpentier appears both among the 'pillar riders' and also among the school's most promising ones.  Indeed, while barely 18 years old, Jérémy won in 2011 his second French Champion title. After his title as Champion of France Enduro 125/4 stroke in 2010, the young French rider won this year the 125 Hopefuls category. The only snag in 2011  was that he suffered quite  serious injury in October at the Enduro World Championship in Mende owing to a spectacular fall. But his supporters shouldn't lose hope, he is about to resume training shortly!

In the 125cc / 4 stroke and 50cc categories, the EC2M  school also finishes on the highest step of the podium as Paul Pinto and Ludovic Rahal respectively clinched the 2011 titles.
