Motul partners Buildbase BMW Motorrad

We are glad to announce our partnership with Buildbase BMW Motorrad, a leading team in the British Superbike championship. Buildbase BMW Motorrad started in 1996 under the name of Hawk Racing, a team created by Stuart Hicken which began with just one rider in Supersport 600 and which has progressed to become one of the best teams of the paddock. So much so that, in 2011, Hawk launched into a new adventure by becoming the BMW official team, under the name Buildbase BMW Motorrad.

The success continued to grow and, in 2014, the team won the first BMW title in British Superbike, with seven wins bagged by Ryuichi Kiyonari, while his team-mate Lee Jackson mounted the podium several times in Superstock 1000, including once for the win. In 2015, the two riders will again contend for Buildbase BMW Motorrad, on the new BMW S 1000 RR.

Richard Barrett, Motul's Brand Manager, commented on this new partnership: 'Team Buildbase is today undoubtedly one of the best in BSB; having it on our side is absolutely fantastic. We're going to work closely with it to obtain the best performances of our racing products.'  Steve Hicken, at Buildbase BMW Motorrad, declared: 'In the paddock we've heard many positive things about Motul and are certain this partnership will be most precious to us in the battle for the title in 2015.'
