Lamborghini West Racing making steady progress!

The second round of the American Le Mans Series 2011 season took place last weekend in the framework of the prestigious Long Beach Grand Prix. Sharing the bill with Indycar (the Made in USA Formula 1), the teams and riders gave a breathtaking show to the very wide public watching this race held bang in the middle of ... down-town Long Beach!
As there is no way off the track, the risk is maximal there for 2 hours, all the more so during this type of endurance race where several categories of vehicles with variable performances are in contention.

Among these 'tightrope walker' drivers, the duo Dominik Schwager - Nicky Pastorelli gave a perfect performance at the wheel of their Lamborghini Gallardo GT2 West Racing supported technically by Motul. As it is the first Lamborghini GT2 developed for racing, and after a first prematurely aborted race at Sebring, it is a superb feat to bring the car under the chequered flag on such a demanding track. The technicians' and engineers' motivation will therefore be boosted for the rest of the season!

Motul was also present in the Long Beach exhibition halls with a stand unveiling many racing cars and motorcycles as well as the entire range of products. Success guaranteed!

Results (GT Class)

...
