Larbre Compétition is determined to keep its crown!

18.02.2013

In 2013, Larbre Compétition is celebrating 25 years of sports car racing! On this occasion, Jack Lecomte and his team are intent on keeping the crown secured last year, by winning their LM GTE Am class. To do so, they are entering in the World Endurance Championship the Corvette C6.R bearing famous number 50.

As for the drivers, team Larbre will continue as previously with well known 'house' drivers: Patrick Bornhauser will be tasked with winning his sixth title with the French team, while Julien Canal will attempt to secure a fourth consecutive win in Le Mans. Both will take part in the entire WEC season with the Corvette no.50, including the 24 Hours. Brazilian Fernando Rees will take part in all the 6 Hour races of the World Championship and the highly experienced Pedro Lamy will be team leader in Le Mans.

'We're returning to the 2013 World Championship with a single car'  stated Jack Lecomte. (...) 'The WEC represents the pinnacle of endurance car racing. From a sports point of view and to be more at ease, we would have preferred to have had two cars. We'll therefore double our efforts to face the fierce competition.'
Opening of the season on 14 April, with the 6 Hours of Silverstone.
