Motul heads to Motegi for Motul Grand Prix of Japan

The 2019 MotoGP™ season is approaching its final few races and, while the championship title may have already been claimed by Marc Marquez, the ever popular Motul Grand Prix of Japan weekend will be critical for many of the riders and teams chasing the remaining top spots in the championship. A Motul-supported Suzuki rider is chief amongst these competitors so all eyes will be on Twin Ring Motegi on 20th October!

Konichiwa Motegi…
The Land of the Rising Sun is home to the powerhouses of two-wheeled sport and transport, and it holds a special place in Motul’s heart. This will be the sixth year of title sponsorship for the Motul Grand Prix of Japan at Twin Ring Motegi. A permanent fixture on the MotoGP calendar since it first hosted a race in 1999, the circuit opened in 1997 and is owned by Honda.

Battle of the giants…
The links between Motul, Japan, moto constructors and all two-wheeled enthusiasts are long, strong and unbroken. MotoGP continues to be, for Motul, the perfect living laboratory and backdrop to showcase its racing technology and product ranges, and much of the research for its involvement in the sport takes place at the dedicated R & D facility at Kawasaki, near Yokohama just outside Tokyo.

The Japanese round of MotoGP is vital on and off track for all manufacturers, and Motul will once again be providing full technical support for the Suzuki factory team – with Alex Rins currently 3rd in the standings and looking for a third victory this season – and Reale Avintia Racing which is keen to move up the championship tables and show what its Ducatis can do.

Motul Superfans living the dream…

Aside from all the drama and excitement on track, there’s plenty to do off it. The fantastic Motul Superfan programme will continue, with one lucky super enthusiast living the dream by getting an access-all-areas, money-can’t-buy visit to the Motul Grand Prix of Japan.  Except, for 2019 it’s not just one super fan!  So, calling all fans of the world’s best bike series…Motul will also host in Japan a Motul Superfan from Indonesia.  These fans will share their Japanese experience with the intensive and unique Motul Superfan programme and in addition they will be encouraged to visit the Motul booth in the fan area where they can find the full product range appropriate for their machines, get their bikes cleaned, or just enjoy the Motul talk show at the Moto Stage.  Truly something for everyone at the Motul Grand Prix of Japan.
