Motul teams podium once more!

Only two races before the end of the championship, needless to say places on the podium are highly coveted in the World FIA GT1.

Yet despite the severe pressure exacerbated by the tiny gaps in the overall standings, the teams supported technically by Motul have managed to do brilliantly well.

Indeed, during the so-called championship race, the duos Richard Westboork / Peter Dumbreck (Nisaan GT-R) and Stef Desseldorp / Clivio Piccione (Aston Martin DB9) respectively crossed the chequered flag  second and third placed. The drivers of the Nissan GT-R of team GT Motorsports put pressure for a long time on the victorious Ford GT Matech of Maxime Martin / Frederic Makowiecki who managed to keep them back to the arrival line by 786 thousandths.

Fine performance also for the second car of team Hexis AMR (Christian Hohenadel / Andrea Piccini) which finished at the foot of the podium.

Less luck on the contrary for the Nissan GT-R/Sumo Power GT of Nicky Catsburg / Enrique Bernoldi (18th) which left the track and remained for very long minutes in the gravel pit. No luck either for Michael Krumm and Lucas Luhr (Nissan GT-R/JRM) who lost precious seconds during a pit-stop following a wheel nut problem at the rear right. They finished ninth. Last, the last Nissan, that driven by Jamie Campbell-Walter / David Brabham finished its race seventh placed.

In the overall standings, having scored 2 points, Luhr/Krumm keep their championship lead with 113 points.
