Kessel Racing en route to a new GTS title!

Already title holder in 2010, Kessel Racing for which Motul is a technical partner, is in the process of pulling off another excellent season in the  European GT Open Championship. Entering on average 4 Ferraris in each meeting, the Swiss team is one of the main attractions in the pack!

The top category of these 100% GT weekends is 'SuperGT'. It groups cars meeting GT2 regulations. Kessel Racing and Motul are represented in it by the duo Peter/Broniszewski (Ferrari F458), who have been collecting honourful places since the beginning of the season. Indeed, although they  always have excellent performances, they have never won so far. The podium (3rd) which they bagged in race 1 at Portimao (Portugal) last weekend is to be added to podium finishes already secured in Austria (2nd) and Belgium (2nd).

The GTS category is that reserved for cars meeting GT3 regulations. Kessel Racing is entering in it two F430s as well as an F458 for the very rapid Bomtempelli/Gattuso. The latter, current leaders in the driver standings, have marked the season with their performance thanks to a very fine weekend at the Red Bull Ring (Austria) a few weeks ago. In effect, not content with having managed to secure the first line of the first race (2nd behind the Ferrari GT2 Kessel but ahead of all the other SuperGTs!), they quite simply... won in the overall standings of the second round! So they're well and truly the strong men of the category, with many other podiums (Imola, Magny-Cours, Brands Hatch), the last one having been bagged last weekend.

Roll on the last two meetings of the season in Monza and Barcelona!
