Triumphant Can-Am Motoworks!

10.10.2012

Quad racing brings luck to Motul! Whether in the United States or in Europe, the teams supported by the brand clinched very good results in their respective championships. In the United States,  Josh Frederick came 2nd in the World OffRoad Championship Series (WORCS) after the eighth and last round at Honolulu Hills, in California, on 15 September. He was entered on a Can-Am quad by team Motoworks who also entered its riders in Europe. This way, Dillon Zimmerman, 4th in the American championship, was crowned winner of the Italian Championship after the seventh event, in  Esanatoglia, on 30 September.

Last, in France, Jeremie Warnia won the Quadcross Elite Championship, for the same team Motoworks, after the Arras round on 16 September. Everything was not straight forward however for the European title holder. His position was even seriously threatened in Arras by Romain Couprie. In the first race in Arras, Warnia managed to take the lead but the breakage of his exhaust manifold forced him to make a pit stop. He set off again 11th and, following an epic battle forward, finished 3rd. At that precise moment, the two players were on an equal footing in the championship. In race two, Warnia completely hashed his start but managed to make up for his delay, flying through the race and passing one by one his contenders. Nothing nor anyone could stop him and he crossed the arrival line first, thus clinching victory in the French Championship.
