Tamara Gray remained for almost ten hours at the wheel of her Yamaha YZ125, during the two days of the Mt Perry enduro competition, in Australia, battling against the dust, high climbs and difficult obstacles. But the young woman, supported by Link, Motul's importer in Australia, managed to remain focussed, winning each round while avoiding the penalties. So, for her first participation in this championship, she climbed the highest step of the podium. 'I've got here with a good points lead because I remained focussed with careful riding to secure the win,' she explained after the arrival. She also has an impressive list of other wins to her credit: five Queensland Motocross Championships, six Natural Terrain Championships, four A4DE gold medals, to which can now be added the Queensland Enduro Championship.
