Revenge is a dish best served cold

Team Mazda France, partnered technically by Motul, has triumphed for the second time since the opening of the 2015/2016 Andros Trophy. On Saturday 19 December at Alpe d’Huez, Jean-Philippe Dayraut improved his record by adding a 52nd victory to his long list of wins. Yet this third  stage had got off to a bad start for the defending champion, still suffering from the trouble that has plagued him since the beginning of the winter season and forced him to sit out race one. 'For all the team, this win is most important, it launches our season. We are now going to have to score points for the Brands standings and help Topi to be as best placed as possible in the championship.'

Winner in Andorra, World Rallycross vice-champion Topi Heikkinen also shone at Alpe d'Huez by placing the second Mazda 3 in 3rd position on Friday and then by bagging 6th place the following day.

But, of the two teams supported by Motul, it's still Ohwell which has the driver best placed to win the title. Always steady, Benjamin Rivière is 3rd in Elite Pro at the wheel of his DS3. In the same team,  Sylvain Pussier ranks 4th in Elite.

Motul also partners the AMV Cup and the Dahbert brothers' team Trebad The elder of the brothers, Sylvain is a bit like the Dayraut of two-wheelers, with five titles in the Andros Trophy. He has bagged three wins and three second places also, in six races, and could well succeed himself!
