Supported by Motul Russia, team FreeDrive Rally was on the starting line of the final of the Russian Rally Championship held in Novorossiysk. In the hands of Gennady Broslavsky, the Mitsubishi Evo X showed excellent performance at the beginning of the race. Unfortunately, in the third special, the car went violently off the track and somersaulted before finally landing back on its wheels. After attempting to join the action again, this excursion from the track finally meant Gennady Broslavsky had to retire owing to major radiator damage. So the driver and Mikhail Gendelman, his co-pilot, watched, as spectators, the end of the event and Igor Bulantsev's win.
The latter were however to enjoy a happy end! After a very fine beginning to the season, team FreeDrive Rally indeed received the title of Russian Rally Champion in category N4. A superb, well merited result for this Russian team which has spared no effort in the 2012 season and which has proved to be the most regular. Congratulations to all the team!
