MOTUL partners the MX1 Latin American Motocross Championship in Peru

Aubervilliers, 13 november 2014. On 15 and 16 November, the MX1 Latin American Motocross Championship will take place in Peru, bringing together the region's major motorsports players. Organised by the Peruvian Motorcycle Racing Federation and the International Motorcycling Federation of Latin America (FIM-LA), it will be held on the Chilca circuit and Motul will be official lubricant partner of the competition. 

The Copa Motul, the Latin American Motocross Championship returns to Peru after 22 years and puts the country back on the international motorcycling circuit. This event will be entered by a large number of riders among whom can be found those of Team Motul Socopur Racing: Alejandro Bulos will be riding a Husqvarna, and Ian Salazar and Jetro Salazar a KTM; they already have experience of Latin American racing since they have won the MX3 and MX2 titles respectively. For Motul and the Socopur group (Motul importer for Peru), it is very important to support and encourage motorsports events, commented Guillermo Peralta, business development manager of the Socopur Group. Riders need bikes prepared for the severest conditions and that's why Motul lubricants have been chosen to assure the best engine performance.

For this race, the riders will use the Motul 100% synthetic 300V Factory Line 4T Offroad with  technology. For riders who will be participating in the race in 85cc category, the specialist recommended lubricant is the 800 Factory Line 2T Offroad, as it has excellent lubricating properties in difficult conditions.
