Karting World Championship - UAE - AL Aïn

The World Rotax Max Championship was held in Al Aïn (United Arab Emirates) at the end of November. Among the fifty or so participants in the DD2 Master class, Guillaume Berteaux, whose team is supported technically by Motul, experienced a dream weekend there!

Indeed, at the end of a race held in sweltering heat above 35°C and marked by superb battling for the places of honour, the French driver secured third place by gaining the advantage over his two closest contenders in the last metres of the race. The 75 thousandths of a second gap from the fourth says a lot about the intensity of the duel!

This brilliant performance puts the finishing touch to a very fine season since, in September, the 35 year old driver was crowned Champion of France in Laval in the same discipline for the third consecutive year. Congratulations!
