Alongside them, some 500 guests trod the red carpet leading to the impressive Silver and Black room at the casino in Estoril to enjoy the very special evening to award the world's best riders. Among them, Nikolai Krasnikov, seven-times world champion of Ice Racing supported by Motul, was handed his medal of 2011 champion. Broadcast live on television in several countries and presented by the most popular English-speaking motorcycling hostess, Suzi Perry, this ceremony also awarded Dominique Meliand, team manager of Suzuki Endurance Racing Team.
