Bolivian Rally Championship - Portachuelo

Eduardo 'Happy' Peredo was crowned car champion of Bolivia following the last race scheduled, in Portachuelo (to the north of Santa Cruz). The driver of team Autokorp, for which Motul is a technical partner, thus clinches his fourth national rally title, in the  'N-4 Codasur' category, which raises him to the rank of the country's best driver, among South America's most brilliant. 

'Goal achieved, with this fourth national title and the sixth at regional level. I'd like to thank my team, my co-pilot, my partners and especially Becar Repuestos which supplies us with the best lubricant, Motul, really unparalleled!' says Peredo.

Eduardo proved to be the best nationally in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011. He also participated in the last two FIA Championships (which take place in several countries of Latin America), where he secured two wins, an historic event for Bolivian motorsports. Next goal: take the lead next year in this same South American championship, without foregoing participation in the WRC.

''I of course aspire to win the South American championship for which I fought in 2010 and 2011. Then I'd like to take part in the World Rally Championship, which will allow me to prove that Bolivia is not lacking in excellent sportsmen', comments Peredo.
