The ninth edition of the International Auto Exhibition in Guangzhou took place from 22 to 28 November. Created in 2003 with a view to bringing together, for a week, local and international players of the world's biggest car market – more than 18.06 million vehicles were sold in 2010 alone! – this exhibition has gained recognition as a reference event in the Chinese car industry.
All in all, no less than 500,000 people visited the exhibition occupying a surface area of 180,000 sq. m. and whose theme in 2011 was 'Green Technology, harmonious Future', showcasing tomorrow's technologies.
Motul was of course present via teams Haima Fumeilai Racing and Team Beijing Hyundai which, after having bagged absolutely all this year in the China Touring Car Championship (CTCC) 1600cc category, exhibited their racing cars for the greatest pleasure of the public.
