After his Aragon podium, Chaz Davies keeps the pressure on

26.07.2012

For the ninth round of the World Superbike Championship, in Brno on 22 July, Chaz Davies did well despite tricky race conditions. The rider of team ParkinGo, partnered technically by Motul since the beginning of the year, had difficulties in finding the right pace in race one, on a partially damp track, crossing the arrival line in 11th position. He did better however in race two: having left from 20th position, he climbed brilliantly through the ranks, engaging in impressive duels with his contenders, to finally clinch a fine 6th place. Chaz Davies thus performed excellently again after his first podium of the season on 1 July at the Aragon circuit.

These last results allow Chaz to rank 10th in the championship.

Motul also supported team Effenbert Liberty Racing, which did honourably well. Jakub Smrz and Maxime Berger came respectively 10th and 9th at the end of race 1 and 13th and 15th in race 2.

The next round will take place in Silverstone, on 5 August. On home turf, Chaz Davies intends to get a good result!
