Kessel Racing wins the title in GTS!

07.11.2012

The Barcelona weekend on 3 and 4 November at the Montmelo circuit led to a splendid success for Kessel Racing, a team supported technically by Motul. It indeed once again won the championship title in the GTS category, while Daniel Zampieri and Michael Dalle Stelle clinched that of the drivers standings at the wheel of their Ferrari F458. For this last event of the season, the race was also run by participants in the Spanish championship. It began rather hesitatingly on account of torrential rain just before the start leading to a damp circuit which made tyre choice tricky. Some cars left with slicks while others with rain tyres and the latter were quite soon forced to stop to mount slicks. Stefano Bizzarri took the win in GTS category but the 4th place of Daniel Zampieri and Michael Dalle Stelle allowed them to keep the championship lead. After its successes in 2009, 2010 and 2011, it's a very solid exploit for Kessel Racing whose schedule doesn't stop there moreover: the team will indeed participate in the Vallelunga 6 Hours, for the final of the Ferrari Challenge, before heading for Abu Dhabi to take part in the  Dubai 12 Hours at the Yas Marina circuit. Passion is never satisfied!
