Performance and team spirit

Two teams are enjoying Motul's technical support in the 2015/2016 edition of the Andros Trophy, which is also sporting the red and white of the famous logo. It's like a wink to Santa Claus in this season!  In Andorra, on 11 and 12 December, fans were eager to see the return of Jean-Philippe Dayraut's  Mazda after their disappointment in Val Thorens. But the bogeyman still lay in waiting for him. Forced to retire without completing the slightest lap in qualifying, the six-times winner chalked a blank result on the championship scoreboard!

Fortunately for team Mazda France, Topi Heikkinen won race one in Elite Pro. In most sportsmanly fashion, the Finn accepted to hand his car to his team-mate so that he could continue battling for the title. Dayrault fought for the podium before having to settle for 4th place following a collision in final 2.

At Pussier Auto by Ohwell, Benjamin Rivière quit in final 1 but redeemed himself by finishing the second race of the weekend third-placed. He occupies the same position in the Elite Pro championship, very close to the two leaders. Sylvain Pussier drove his DS3 to the win in race 2 in Elite and came 2nd in the provisional standings.

Meanwhile, Matthieu Vaxivière inflicted another double blow on his contenders in an Electric Trophy supported by Motul just like team Loxam which has entered the versatile Matthieu.
