Round 4, Miller Motorsports Park

We had back to back rounds at the beginning of June taking us first to Miller Motorsports Park for the Big M weekend where we shared the track with the World Superbike Stage! Our Three riders each competed in a single race format for the round and After 4 days of Wind and rain, the skies cleared and we had a great day of racing. Dave raced to a 9th place finish and Jordy brought it home in the 13th spot right on the heels of Roadracingworld.com’s Chris Ulrich. Unfortunately for Matt, in the supersport race after a very successful weekend, the bike failed on the warm up lap and he had to retire before the race started.

Round 5, Road America

We packed up on Monday in Utah and headed straight to the next round across the country to Road America in Elk Heart Lakes Wisconsin.  The weather followed us and proved to be a challenge all its own throughout the action packed race weekend. Dave had a long weekend with two Mechanicals at key times of the round. One of these came just before race one and he was not able to compete in Saturday’s competition. Sunday however the bugs were sorted and he went on to finish 8th place at the end of the day. Jordan Burgess raced to his best weekend for 2012 with a 12th and 14th place finish improving his times and creating a setup that seems to be working well for him. Matt Schragg picked up the pieces from the unfortunate mechanical in Miller and picked up the pace quick at a track he has never been to. Finishing 20th in the first race and down to 18th in the second, with 40 other bikes on the grid, we are very happy with his progress and look forward to Round 6 at Barber.

Round 6, Barber Motorsports Park

HOT, HOT, HOT! Barber 2012 was a weekend where water was in high demand but a definite change from the last two rounds, this time we wanted it for drinking! Track Temps of 140 degrees made traction a problem for all but moving forward was not.

Dave had a few good races chasing down the pack for finishes in 9th and 10th while Jordy maintained his own in the 12th and 14th positions.

Mattie had a tough weekend however while in the first race a few laps in, he had a slight mechanical causing him to do a ride through adjustment putting him a lap down in the 34th spot. Sundays race after a few Red flags Mr. Schragg was caught up in another rider’s mistake and he was pushed off the track ending his day in 36th place. We made it through the weekend and turn our heads to Ohio coming up in a few short weeks.

Our next stop however is New Orleans for a test of the new facility that we will be racing in October later this year.
