Promising tests for the Motul teams!

The day after the last round of the season held on 6 November at the Valencia track in Spain, the teams contending in MotoGP came back together again at the same track for a test session with the 2012 season in view.

Among them, teams Monster Yamaha Tech3 and Rizla Suzuki, both supported technically by Motul, made a particularly good impression there. For instance, at the brand with three tuning forks, Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Dovizioso – the French team's new recruit – made their first laps at the wheel of the new YZR-M1 fitted with a  1000cc engine. At the end of the two test days, it was the Italian rider who proved to be the fastest. After completing a total of 118 laps, the latter indeed concluded with a best time of 1’33.256.

As for team Rizla Suzuki, after Alvaro Bautista's transfer to team San Carlo Honda Gresini, Randy de Puniet was invited to test the GSV-R800 on Tuesday 8 November. The French rider eagerly grabbed this opportunity and greatly impressed team Rizla Suzuki. Indeed, after completing a mere fifty laps and whereas he had an 800 cc motorbike, the French rider secured the day's 4th best time.

Next meet in Sepang for new tests which take place from 31 January to 2 February 2012.
