Kenichi Kuroyama undeniably rules supreme!

10.11.2012

Trial racing is perhaps not as popular as track racing and has not become a real way of life such as motocross. Yet, as the principle is to cross obstacles without putting foot to ground, it is probably one of the most demanding and impressive motorcycle disciplines.

And, if there is one rider currently at the summit of his art, it is  Kenichi Kuroyama. The Japanese rider of team Kuroyama Racing — supported technically by Motul — indeed clinched an 11th national title last month by winning the Aichi round. However, not content with having secured the title with six wins in six races, Kuroyama-san had his mind entirely set on the last round at Sugo. He could indeed do the grand slam there and thus become the second rider in the history of Japanese trial to succeed this exceptional performance.

At Sugo, during the week-end of 27 and 28 October, the Yamaha rider was therefore highly awaited. Despite this strong pressure, once more he made no mistakes, getting full marks in several of the various observed sections.

Congratulations!
